Gift from Upline!

Look at this awesome gift I got from my 2nd upline, Tina S, for just being a director!!! I love this purse! It goes great with my leather coat I got from Italy when Lance and I was over there. Just another perk for being a CTMH consultant!!! Love my job!

Holiday memories...

Chasey and I had fun in the kitchen yesterday making some cookies! I know, I know, you are all in shock that I was in the kitchen!!! Don't worry, nothing started on fire and nothing got burnt! We tried a fellow CTMH sister's recipe for Oreo Snowball cookies - very Yummy!!! Thank you Leah M.!!! See pics below of our adventure :)

And yes, they look like big black turds, but oh so yummy, tee hee!!!!!! They still need dipped in white chocolate :)

Here's the recipe if you want to try:
Oreo Snow Balls

1 pkg. Oreo cookies
1 (8oz) pkg. cream cheese (softened)
1 pkg white chocolate chips
1 tablespoon shortening

Crush the entire package of Oreos (use food processor or blender).

Mix the softened cream cheese into the cookie mixture.

Form into 1 inch balls and put them in the freezer to harden a bit.

Melt the white chocolate and shortening in microwave. Remove balls from freezer and place on wax paper. Drizzle the white chocolate over balls or dip them into the white chocolate. Place snow balls on wax paper and refrigerate. Makes approximately 3 dozen.

Also got some oddball jobs around the house done. The kids and I finally raked and we painted downstairs. Not finished with the painting, but two walls are primed! Brick is really hard to paint on, especially the old stuff! Conned Tristin's friends into helping paint, don't think they'll be back over for awhile, tee hee!

Gift ideas...

I picked up these little tins at Walgreens (round ones - 3 for $1) and Skagway (lunch boxes $1 each). They were so fun to decorate and make great little gifts for teachers, friends, or those last minute holiday guests :) So get creative, and make it from the heart!

Fa La La La La.......

It's Christmas concert season and we were up bright and early getting Chasey ready for hers. At their school, they do the concert right after school (in the past, kids were not returning for the concert). But that means I have to do her hair in the morning, and hope it lasts all day. She wanted me to put curls in, so we did some. Lots of hairspray :) I love how these photos turned out! Chasey is growing up soooo fast!

Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells.....

I just LOVE the holiday season and especially the music! My hubby cringes when we travel to Omaha in November for our annual Christmas juant, I find the all year round Christmas channel immediately! Nothing like a good "Deck the halls" to put you in the Christmas shopping mood, tee hee!

Pumpkin Patch

We did have a scare though when we went through one of the Haunted Forests at night. Chasey got so scared that she started to have an asthma attack!!! She hasn't had one of those for ages! So we had to stop the nearest monster for directions out of the maze. A crazy tall clown ended up leading her and I backwards through it all. (Weird seeing all the goblin's just hanging out behind the scenes) Anyways, got Chasey sat down at the food place, calmed down enough to start breathing right and she was ok then. As soon as Lance and the other two got through it though, we headed back to the hotel.

We're BACK!!!!!!!!!!

WOW!!! WOW!!! WOW!!! What an amazing trip! Definitely a trip of a lifetime! Can't wait to develop our pictures and relive it all! Now if I can only get my desk to stop rocking, tee hee! We are both trying to catch up on phone calls, e-mails, and laundry today. As soon as I get my photos downloaded, I will try to post a link. Ciao for now!

Last minute packing...

We are down to the wire now and finishing all those last minute errands, checklists, and packing. I just know I won't sleep a wink tomorrow night! Don't think I'll be able to post again until I get back since I don't have a laptop to bring with yet ;(

Had parent teacher conferences today, oh joy! Not sure if I like these or not. Kids are doing great though!

Well, this post is going to be short since my brain is going a mile a minute with things I have to get done yet! Later....

Cowgirl Up!

WOW! Where did my little girl go??? Chasey asked to try on my hat one day and it actually fit! I do have to say though, I think she looks pretty darn cute in it! (I'm not biased, am I?! tee, hee) This is the layout we are doing for scrapbooking club in November! I just LOVE this paper!!! One of my favs!

Only 5 day until we head to Barcelona!!!!!! I'm soooo freakin' excited!!!! (nervous about the pick-pocketers though!!!)

The journey begins.....

So I'm finally joining the bandwagon and starting a blog, tee hee! Bare with me as I play with it for awhile! I'm hoping to be able to share with all my two loves: my family and scrapbooking! Both of which I wish I had more time for. In 9 days, 15 hrs, etc... (see counter to the side), I will be flying off to the Mediterranean to spend time with my wonderful hubby (Lance) and spend time with my fellow CTMH cruiser sistas!!! If anyone really knows Lance, then you know that he needs this vacation more than I do! He has been working so hard lately, that I'm glad I earned this cruise to be able to give him a break!!! I'm already working on my next incentive trip - New Zealand!!!!! What a beautiful place, never would have imagined the chance to visit there!
